How to Connect, Truly

Red Shoe Room West

Emotional

In the 1963 movie “8 ½” by Federico Fellini, one the characters makes the realization that “Happiness consists of being able to tell the truth without hurting anyone”. In this session, I explain what this statement means and how to live this wisdom every day. Simply put, this session is about radically honest, and healthy boundaried, communication with others. Importantly, honesty is never about the other person; it's only about you and your inner experience. Sharing that inner experience in a non-accusatory, non-assumptive, non-blaming, responsible way is what opens the door for true connection and friendship. This is a new way of being that might feel foreign at first, but once the skill is learned, you will continually feel more aligned with yourself and others. Are you in?
